Playing .flv files in Winamp

In order to get Winamp to play flv files the nature of flv files must be understood. The FLV, or Flash Video, format is a file format essentially developed to supply to user's video content via the internet. It found its initial use as the major format utilized by Macromedia Flash Player which has since become Adobe Flash Player. Despite this, FLV still sticks to certain video coding standards of which the most common FLV standard is H.263. Other standards include On2 TrueMotion VP6. Due to this, in order to get any Media Player to be able to play FLV files it is only required that they be able to play the format in which said videos are encoded in. The process for enabling Winamp to play said formats will herein be detailed.
